The Problem We Address
Individuals impacted by incarceration both those entering prison and those reentering society face overwhelming challenges. Newly incarcerated individuals often experience isolation, hopelessness, and depression, with little access to mental health support. These emotional struggles can escalate into behavioral issues, sometimes resulting in harsh disciplinary actions like solitary confinement. Meanwhile, people released from prison face barriers to housing, employment, and healthcare due to the stigma of a criminal record. This societal rejection becomes a “second sentence,” perpetuating cycles of poverty, marginalization, and despair. Our programs exist in Kissimmee, ST. Cloud and Orlando to break this cycle.
